Their holistic approach to image enhancement is the marriage between Dr. Lat's impeccable knowledge and skill in turning his patient's desires into reality, and Dr. Zenda Garcia-Lat's empathy and sensitivity to a woman's needs. Dr. Lat is a New York Mount Sinai Hospital-trained cosmetic surgeon who rigorously trained in all aspects of plastic surgery. His experience, expertise, and dedication, have earned him certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been clinical assistant professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for years. Despite their busy schedule, he and his wife find time to organize and participate in an annual surgical mission doing cleft lip and palate surgery for indigent patients of third world countries.
As a woman in touch and cognizant of a woman's needs, Dr. Garcia-Lat, has a well-developed aesthetic sense that enables her to translate the patient's needs into visual images that are used as the template for image enhancement. Through this dynamic feedback mechanism, she is able to accurately gauge a patient's expectation. The end-result of this encounter is a patient who is totally involved in the process of self-improvement.
In addition to bridging the gap between the patient and the surgeon, Dr. Garcia-Lat completes the Center's range of services by providing her expertise in skin care, intense pulsed light and laser treatments. She does Cosmetic Dermatology and offers customized skin care programs including the Obagi Nu-Derm products and the Obagi Blue Peel. Dr. Garcia-Lat trained under Dr. Patrick Bitter Sr., the foremost expert in Photofacial for which she has gained popularity among rosacea patients. Her patients from Asia, Canada, as well as all over the North America can attest to her excellent care and enthusiasm and dedication to a customized treatment for her patients. She also does photorejuvenation, laser hair removal and laser vein treatments.
All consultations and cosmetic procedures are done within our fully equipped modern office. We have our own operating suite that is accredited by the AAAASF and is designed to handle almost all cosmetic procedure. This saves the patient the time and cost of a hospital admission without sacrificing quality and safety. We have a very caring and professional staff who makes our patients feel welcome, relax and comfortable. Patients come in for a complimentary, comprehensive consultation with access to a voluminous file of before and after pictures.
